  • Do you accept walk-ins?
    Yes, we do! If you are seeking medical attention for acute conditions -- such as the common cold, allergies, minor cuts and sprains, etc. -- feel free to stop by Odessa Medical Enterprises during normal office hours. Our family nurse practitioner would be happy to treat you.
  • How do I make an appointment or change my appointment?
    You can schedule an appointment with our physician or family nurse practitioner during our normal office hours: Monday through Thursday, 9am - 5pm or Friday, 9am-12pm. To schedule or change your appointment, contact Odessa Medical Enterprises at (432) 332-5557. Please note that we require at least 24 hours notice for any appointment cancellations.
  • Can I make a same-day appointment?
    Yes, same-day appointments are exclusively available with our concierge service. ​ We want our patients to have a relaxed experience when they come to our office. With our concierge service, patients can schedule same-day appointments with no wait time and receive 24-hour access to our staff via phone or email, all for a nominal fee. Contact our office today to get more details.
  • What types of insurance do you accept?
    Odessa Medical Enterprises currently accepts Medicare, Medicare Replacements, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Aetna and most commercial policies. We can review insurance information with you when scheduling your appointment; however, each insurance plan is different, so we recommend contacting your health insurance provider to determine if your specific plan will cover our services.
  • What can I expect as a new patient?
    Upon arrival to your first appointment, our staff will have you fill out a registration form and health history form. We ask that new patients arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment time to complete this paperwork. If you would prefer to fill these forms out online, just contact our office at 432-332-5557 or email us at info@odessamd.com.
  • Can you accommodate patients who only speak Spanish?
    Odessa Medical Enterprises aims to be as inclusive as possible, so if you are more comfortable speaking in a language other than English, just let us know. 90% of our staff is bilingual and can speak Spanish fluently.
  • What do I need to bring to my appointment?
    Please bring a list of medications that you are currently taking and your health insurance card or a copy of your card. If your insurance requires a co-pay or deductible, please be prepared to pay that at the time of your visit. It is also helpful to write down a list of your medical questions so that Dr. Dar, nurse practitioner Janette Ornelas and our team can ensure all of your questions are answered in the exam room.
  • How do I get a refill on my prescription?
    Our team may need to review your medical records before prescribing or refilling any medications. To request a refill on medications that we have prescribed, please call our office at 432-332-5557 during normal office hours. Please note that we cannot refill prescriptions on weekends or holidays.
